Burnout Therapy in Florida
You're getting sleep, but you still wake up tired. You go through your day feeling drained before it even starts.
You’ve also started feeling disconnected from the people you love.
If you're searching for burnout therapy in Florida, you've probably already tried resting. You slept in, took a day off, or even a whole vacation. Maybe it helped a little, but it didn't fix anything. It's also confusing because you did what everyone told you would work. You tried to rest.

Does this sound like you?
Most days you feel drained or almost numb.
You've noticed yourself pulling away from people you actually care about.
Rest alone hasn't fixed it. You sleep, and you still wake up exhausted.
A lot of your worth is tied to how well you perform at work, which makes it hard to admit you're burned out.
You feel shame around needing a break, like you should be able to push through.
You've lost some sense of who you are outside of what you produce.
If you're nodding along yes to more than one of these, you're not broken. You're burned out, and that's very different.
What’s actually going on with Burnout?
Burnout isn't just being tired. It's what happens when you've pushed past your limits for so long that your body and your sense of self start to break down.
I heard someone say that burnout tore apart the sense of identity they'd spent years building. And that's not an exaggeration. When your worth gets tangled up with high performance, burnout doesn't just drain you. It can definitely make you question who you even are without the constant doing and going.
There's also grief in this. Grief for the version of you that could push through anything, and for the energy you used to have. That grief is real, and it deserves a name and space. If you've ever found yourself in a bathroom or closet crying from tiredness, then you understand that grief.
A lot of what keeps burnout going isn't a lack of willpower. It's shame around needing rest. It's loyalty to people or systems that ask too much of you. Maybe you just never learned where your actual limits are. And maybe no one taught you it was okay to have them.
What to expect working with me
In our first session, I will gather some history and details about what's bringing you in. I’ll ask you directly what you think burnout recovery looks like. Not some general idea of recovery, but what it actually looks like for you.
We'll talk about where your sense of worth got tied to performance in the first place, and whose voice is telling you that rest is lazy or selfish. I'll ask questions like "What's actually working for you right now, even a little?" and "What would it look like to work within your limits instead of past them?"
In some sessions, we'll slow down and sit with the grief part of this, the part where you're mourning who you used to be able to be. Other sessions, we'll get practical about what's actually within your control right now. Rest alone didn't fix this, and it won't be the whole answer moving forward either.
You don't have to keep pushing yourself past empty just because you can, and you're good at it.
If this sounds like you, let's talk about what recovery could actually look like for you.
