Individual Therapy for Latinas

I specialize in working with Latinas, especially first-generation and gen 1.5 — who are high achievers but are quietly burning out under the pressure of holding everything together.

If you're navigating new motherhood, family expectations, perfectionism, or exhaustion, I can help. We'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck and build practical tools to manage anxiety, set boundaries, and reconnect with yourself — without guilt.

My approach is warm, but clear and direct, and culturally grounded. Together we can look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect — and why.

I use brain science to help you understand that what you're experiencing has real roots in your brain and nervous system, not a personal failing. I also work from a lens that takes seriously how race, culture, identity, and systems of oppression shape your mental health — because those things aren't separate from who you are.

Sessions are available in English, Spanish, or Spanglish — whichever feels most comfortable for you.

Family Therapy for Substance Use

When someone you love is struggling with substance use, it can leave the whole family feeling confused, scared, and unsure of what to do next. You don't have to figure it out alone.

Family therapy sessions are a space where loved ones can come together to understand what's happening, improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and find a path forward — with guidance that is compassionate and without judgment.

This is especially helpful for families who want to support their loved one while also taking care of their own wellbeing.

  • Before our first appointment I will send you some paperwork that you can fill out online. The paperwork I send you should take maybe 5 to 15 minutes to complete. Our first session will be 60 minutes online via secure video. You can join me from your phone, tablet, or laptop. You can join me from your home, private office, or parked car. I will listen to your story, explore your history and current concerns, and discuss initial goals. We’ll also cover logistics like fees, scheduling, and paperwork so you know what to expect moving forward.

  • After your first session you can decide what therapy schedule will work best for you. I offer sessions in 60, 45, or 30-minute formats. We'll work together to find a rhythm that fits your needs and your life. During our first few sessions we will work together to create a plan for therapy, or "Treatment Plan." A Treatment plan is a tentative guide of goals and objectives. This plan will be catered to you, your needs, and your personal goals. Throughout our time together we will check in and review your progress. We will also be able to update or change the plan as we go along.

    • 60 minutes — $175

    • 45 minutes — $135

    • 30 minutes — $95

    Therapy access is very important to me. I offer affordable counseling via the Open Path Psychotherapy Collective, and my sliding scale ranges from $50-$80.
